Cara Thenot

With a background in publishing and bookselling, Cara joined Energize, Inc. in 2002 as online publications director to help steer Energize into the world of e-books.  Since then, she has embraced the volunteerism field and expanded her duties to include managing marketing communications for Energize, most recently leading the company’s voice in social media. You’ll also see Cara talking about volunteer management books and resources when Energize exhibits at volunteerism conferences. 

Personally, Cara volunteers at her daughter’s school, loves to participate in any walk/run-a-thons, wishes she had a tennis buddy, and has become addicted to Words-With-Friends.
